With acoustic guitar in hand, a pleasant voice and inspiring lyrics, he is very much the image of the folk singer, but his songs
also have an air of light pop, country and in some cases, a quite obvious Spanish feel.

Mexico's hottest Latin jazz act so far!
Brothers Eugenio, Enrique and Fernando Toussaint along with saxophonist Alejandro Campos formed the band 'SACBE' in October
1976. The original idea was the creation of a musical project that could represent what was done at the time in jazz, with an original,
Latin-American identity that could reflect an important and fresh Mexican musical movement.
The band started working at a local café south of Mexico City, which in a short time became a gathering place for young artists
looking for new means of expression and creation. Sacbe' just celebrated 30 years on March 23, 2007.

Album Review

“Bravo! For pianist Silvia Navarrete who has caught to perfection the rhytms, the pace and the feel of this elegant, gracious salon
music by mexican composers, long forgotten” ....She plays these sparkling rhytms as tought born with them in her blood. She's an alchemist, who can transform pieces of tinsel into silver”

"Los Pajarracos" is above, and for the most, a tale of faith. A tale of a shameless man, a Lucha Libre pro-wrestler, from small account with a great dream: The dream of conquering Los Angeles's rings. But every great dream takes a part of us, and faith has put in the way of our hero's way a handful of loafers against whom he will have to face in the hardest fight of them all.
Through faith and humor, this flick of merry mobsters (our hero included) touch the store in serious subjects, such as: the chaotic love-hate relationship between Mexicans and Americans; the mass media who lies, cheats and steals its audiences; drugs that give power and money; the corrupted law who allows pederasty to be forgiven and more touchy subjects ever present in the everyday lives of Latin America.

About Opa Opa Opa Opa is available for live performances!

Opa means HELLO!!WELCOME!!HOLA!! Opa Opa is a Los Angeles based band that was created in 1987 by Oswaldo Bernard and his good friend Anthony Apollo. They set out to use their musical talent honed since their childhood, to create a band that would have a unique and distinctive
sound - rich percussive rhythms, remarkably unique sounding vocals and robust brassy horns. These elements have contributed greatly to the powerful sound that identifies Opa-Opa. OPA OPA is made up of a diverse group of musicians who's backgrounds come from all over the world, adding their own special flare and flavor to the band's sound... During the late 80's and early 90's, the band blossomed to be one of the premiere salsa bands in Los Angeles. Here they were discovered by the very talented producer Erich Bulling who signed the band to a recording contract with Warner. The outcome was the release of Opa Opa's first album entitled "mojaditicos." Opa Opa has had the privelege to share the stage with some of the major recording artists from around the world including: Celia Cruz, Willie Colon, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, La Sonora Ponceña, Oscar de Leon, Daniel Santos, Willie Chirino, Johnny
Rey, Grupo Niche, Guayacan, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Ruben Blades, Charlie Palmieri, Poncho Sanchez, and many other great artists. With the release of the new CD "Los Paisajes" (DG Music/ Universal), the band hopes to share their unique style of music with the rest of the tropical music loving world.
